Privacy policy

This site tells you when enrolment for AI Enhanced Dev opens and lets you sign up for an email notification. We also use basic, cookie-free analytics to understand how the site is used.

What we store, and why

When you sign up we store your email address. We use it for one thing: to email you when enrolment opens.

With it we store the address of the page you signed up on, such as the program page or an article, so we know which pages bring people to the program.

As proof of your consent we also keep the time you signed up, your IP address and the words the form showed you.

Our analytics also counts each completed signup, with the page and the signup form you used. It never receives your email address or anything else you type.

Legal basis

We use your consent for the email signup (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time. For analytics, we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding site usage (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long we keep it

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and using it stops our emails right away. We keep your signup, the proof of your consent and the record that you unsubscribed, so we can show what you agreed to and never email you again. To have them deleted, write to support@academind.com. Analytics data has no fixed deletion period yet.

Who processes it for us

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site.

Our email system runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States: it stores your signup and sends our emails through Amazon SES. Transfers to the US rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Amazon is certified.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookie-free analytics to count page views, approximate visitors and completed signups. This records page addresses, referrers, IP addresses, browser details and approximate location. A counted signup adds only the name of the form you used, never your email address. We set no cookies and store no preferences in your browser.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, for its export, and for the processing to be restricted. One email to support@academind.com is enough. You can also complain to the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, the supervisory authority for Bavaria.
